In these scene directed by Charles I. Mee , to me one of the most important item is the lighting . The illumination of the scene make s it look like the city of Troy is dead, the chorus’s outfits are simple but they also have an impact of poverty to the scene
The Trojan Women at The Annual English Drama Night in Guangzhou, South China. 2007
In this production of Euripides, The Trojan Women produced by the departments of British and American literature one of the thing that caught my attention was the chorus the way the y have the scary make up help a lot to princess Cassandra's suffering and to make the tragedy more alive.
The Trojan Women for the united Players of Vancouver, B.C. 1995
In this production of the United Payers of Vancouver , this is my favorite picture because you can see that the production thought outside the box by having the play in the rocks next to the lake representing the lost and destroyed city of troy the costumes are nice and u can tell that each of the characters in this picture is engaged with their part.
The Trojan Women at Parkside Theatre in Wisconsin, 2005-2006 Season
I love this picture maybe because is the most modern picture but I love the outfits they are wearing it reminds me of troy the actresses are very expressive I also like the masks that the guards are wearing and to me that’s more of the way I imagine this play and the background is awesome I love the brown contrasting with the color of their outfits
The Trojan Women at the Saginaw Valley State University's Studio Theatre, 1996
In these picture performed during the region lll American college theatre festival in Saginaw. In his play directed by Karen Sheridan, I like the outfits they are wearing and gives the reaction of the public of sadness and misery. Also the protection from one character to the other one. The stage in the back look simple but at the same time it has the effect of their homeland destroyed.
The Trojan Women at the Langham Creek Ensemble in TX 2005
In this production of The Trojan even though it was a high school production I think is pretty neat the stage looks good, also the lights helped a lot in this production the costumes of the actors and actresses are very simple but they go a long way
The Trojan Women at the Baldwinsville Theatre Guild in Beltsville, NY 2008
In this production of Dustin M Czarny The Trojan Women seem to be in a medieval stage created by Carol Johnson . Accompanying this the costumes created by Barbara Toman help the medieval time period. in the scene the ladies are discussing their past, present, and future.
In this new adaptation by Meghan Kennedy and Kimber Lee. Directed by Halena Kays . The costume designer Alison Heryer does and incredible job at the garments “Hecuba” played by Kate DeBuys is wearing, plus the chorus in the background makes an exceptional scene.
The Trojan Women at the Sheafer Theater in the Bryan Center. Durham, NC. 2009
In this modern adaptation was created and directed by Ellen Hemphill, from the translation by Alan Shapiro with Peter Burian. I was so exited by this production because the costume make up and stage are impeccable. In the picture you see women on a cage suspended in the air plus the other cast members are spread through out the stage.
The Trojan Women at the Aurora Theatre Company in Berkeley, CA. 2008
In this scene directed by Barbara Oliver, “Hecuba” played by Carla Spindt and “Helen” played by Nora el Samahy are having the face off u can also see the chorus in the back. The stage as you can see is plainer that the ones we've seen before but the quality of the actresses in this production is brilliant.
